| Q. How do I re-subscribe to findsingletravellers when my paid subscription expires? A. We will automatically re-subscribe you until we hear from you by email or post to cancel your subscription or you delete your profile. Q. Are my personal details safe? A. Yes they are completely safe and we do not pass on ANY of the details we collect from you at any time, unless we have to do so by law. We abide strictly to the Data Protection act 1998. Q. Are my bank details safe? A. Yes. Your payment information is collected through a secure server using the latest encryption technology available on line. We personally do not hold your bank account details. Q. Can I remove my profile / advert at any time? A. You can remove your profile at any time, just follow the remove link after the log on page. To remove an advert, please email our advertising department on advertising (at) findsingletravellers.com Q. I’ve forgotten my LOGIN details? A. Go into the login page and click on the “forgotten your details?” link below the login tab or click here forgotten your details? Q. I don’t want my personal details displayed to other members. A. We do not show personal information in the “Find Travel Friends” section of our site. We only include your first name. In the Classified Ad’s section, you do need to include contact information for obvious reasons. Q. Do I have to pay to use the Forum? A. No you don’t, this is completely free of charge, but you do need to opt in to our mailing list to join the forum. Q. Can I get a refund if I don’t find any suitable travel companions? A. No sorry you don’t. Because the database is constantly changing, and because of your own travel criteria, we do not offer refunds for not finding suitable companions. |
